So, you need to hire a writer?
It doesn’t matter what brought you here. It matters what I can do for you.
It seems like you need some words.
You need them to make sense and you need them to convey your message effectively.
You need your words done right the first time, and other means to get them have most likely failed you in the past.
Your words need to be easy and cheap, but quality.
You know that the right words can transform anything you’re doing.
If you’re creating, they can do everything from document the process to sell the end product.
The right copy can empower your business, deliver an important message, and implore your target customers to buy.
Let me share my words with you.
I began writing professionally in 2006 when I was fortunate enough to land a gig as a technical writer for a heavy equipment rental company based in Las Vegas, NV.
I documented policies and procedures for the Service department. It was an amazing opportunity.
I learned a lot in the short 2.5 years I was there.
I learned that I only thought I knew how to use Microsoft Word, I learned how to write how-to content, I learned how to be a versatile writer creating everything from video scripts to manuals.
Every other opportunity since then has paled in comparison, but I’ve always learned something.
I haven’t worked as a freelance content writer for about a decade except for a sporadic piece here and there.
Content mills and cheap overseas writers decimated the value of writers like me. If you’ve been working online for a while, then you may know exactly what I’m talking about.
Recently, I realized that things have come full circle and that it’s viable again for me to offer writing as a service.
Over the decade when that wasn’t the case, I learned how to do a lot of other stuff while writing for myself.
The result is that I write faster, I am more well-rounded, and I am in the position to be sought after.
What great timing.
Here you are! I am happy you happened by.
I have words. The whole Internet is made of words, and I’m happy to be in the business of words again. It feels like home.
If you’re ready, I’m definitely ready to discuss your project.
Let’s make sure we’re not wasting one another’s time.
As a freelance content writer, I have experience in many topics, but I’m not great at everything.
If something falls too far outside my wheelhouse, that comes through in my copy.
Here are some niches where I excel:
|Email Marketing||Content Marketing||Content Repurposing|
|WordPress||WordPress plugins||Problem Solving|
|Frugal Living||Upcycling||Tiny Homes|
|Social Media||Social Media Marketing||Social Media Management|
|Make Money Online||Work at Home||Home Business|
|Sales copy||Book descriptions|
I’m sure I could have left something out, so you can ask if you’re unsure.
I can write pretty much anything, but my best work is:
- Blog posts
- Sales copy
- Product descriptions
- Web copy
- Short fiction
- Short non-fiction
- Lead magnets
You’d probably like some samples.

How much to hire a writer?
Pricing is going to vary depending upon where you look.
I’m more expensive than a content mill, and probably a bit cheaper than other copywriters.
It depends on the project.
Copywriting projects are priced differently than say, blog posts.
Your best bet is to reach out to me via email and let me quote you a fair price. You can get an idea of how my pricing is structured by looking at the pricing page for my Virtual Assistant services, but know that my writing services are more expensive.
Hire a Writer Because It Makes Sense
Have you ever just sat in front of your computer staring at a blank screen?
I feel your pain.
As a writer, I’ve been there more times than I can count…and I’ve managed to get past it.
I remember spending long hours at the keyboard trying to conjure enough content to flesh out an article I didn’t want to write.
You don’t have to do this anymore.
Hire a writer and let them deal with the agony of words.
I don’t struggle anymore.
Put a blank screen before me and a topic; the words are a natural by-product of that situation.
Content is still king of the Internet, so it just makes sense to hire a writer and call it conquered.
Words Are Powerful
When we speak them to another person, the sound of our voice sends vibrations into their body which they interpret through complicated processes in the brain.
That alone is amazing.
During World War II, the saying went “Loose lips sink ships” to remind servicemen and citizens not to talk openly about the military operations of the United States.
With words comes great responsibility.
You can try to diminish their power, but in the end, the pen is mightier than the sword.
Are You Ready?
Well, are you? Are you ready to get the words you need to get your project off the ground?
Shoot me an email. I will respond.
Let me know as much as you can. The more I know, the better equipped I will be to provide you with a response, price quote, and whatever else you need to give your words wings.
