podcasts

Podcasts are almost as popular as video, and there could be a whole new audience waiting there for you. If you choose to create a podcast, you can expect to expand your online presence exponentially.

There are many authoritative websites that host podcasts and distribute them such as:

  • iTunes
  • Google Play
  • iHeartRADIO
  • Spotify

…just to name a few! I never imagined myself on any of these sites as a host of anything, but in 2018, I learned how to podcast and launched The Candid Cashflow Podcast.

As a result, I enjoyed consistent content for my blog in addition to all kinds of other content to repurpose and share. It also created an avenue to share older content and breathe new life into it.

I’m not going to lie, it was a lot of work. I spent up to 10 hours easily each week writing, recording, and producing my podcast.

Repurposing Your Content

If you already create blog posts, videos, or whatever, consider how easy it is to turn those assets into a podcast.

I have two clients who have me turn their YouTube videos into podcasts, and they get hundreds and thousands of listens every week.

If you’re looking for a way to drive consistent content, a podcast accompanied by a blog post is a great way to tackle it.

Getting Your Podcast Everywhere

I also keep a running list of podcast distribution sites and how to get your podcast listed on them.
